HISTÓRIA DA MÚSICA ELETRÔNICA
A história da música eletrônica começa com as bases teóricas de Hermann Ludwig Ferdinand von Helmholtz (1860) e o manifesto de Feruccio Busoni. O movimento Dada (1916) e artistas como Kurt Schwitters e Luigi Russolo foram fundamentais para a destruição de barreiras estéticas, abrindo caminho para o Theremin em 1917.
Os dois primeiros sintetizadores da história são fundamentais para a música eletrônica: o Telharmonium (1897), de Thaddeus Cahill, e o Helmholtz Sound Synthesizer (1905), de Helmholtz.
